A journey sparked by existential questions, leading from traditional studies in thought and religion to strategic leadership across national and global arenas.
Blending truth-seeking with practical experience, I continue to learn daily, sharing insights with those who seek depth, clarity, and balanced growth.
My journey began at the age of thirteen, burdened by life's big questions for which I could find no answer that satisfied my mind or soothed my heart—not in books, dialogues, or lectures.
It was then I realized I had to set everything aside and dedicate myself to the search for truth after finishing my schooling, for there is no tranquility or clarity without knowing what is authentic and true.
And so it was—despite the harshness of poverty and the pressure of circumstances, I chose to refuse a guaranteed university scholarship and walk a deeper path in the pursuit of knowledge.
I studied philosophy, theology, and religions in traditional seminaries, while simultaneously continuing my academic studies in economics and accounting remotely, thus combining a spiritual experience with practical study.
I returned to public life at the age of twenty-four, with no mastery of the English language and no significant career opportunities. But what I emerged with from my inner journey — of confidence, strength, deep conviction, and sincere trust in God — was the real capital.
I taught myself what I had missed, persevered, and progressed with steady steps until I mastered the language and earned the CPA certification from the United States. During my professional career, I worked in three of the world's largest audit firms (KPMG, EY, Arthur Andersen), before taking on the role of Head of Internal Audit in the Government of Ajman, where I led a comprehensive strategic transformation at the age of thirty-two.
After that successful experience, I was appointed as an advisor with the rank of undersecretary in the Government of Abu Dhabi to lead one of the largest strategic transformation programs in a major real estate financial institution.
Later, I earned the "Certified Management Consultant" (CMC) accreditation from the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), becoming the first GCC national to receive this international recognition.
From there, I launched into a new phase of contribution in the fields of consulting, training, and leadership program development.
In 2023, a Royal Decree was issued appointing me as a member of the State Council of Oman (2023–2027), where I contribute through the Economic and Financial Committee to provide strategic insights to support the national development process.
Today, the threads of this entire journey converge into a single intellectual project: a reading I have named, for the reader's ease, Tazkiyah — The Essential Motion Toward Self-Truthfulness. In it, I present an understanding of existence as motion rather than stillness, and of the human being as one who, by his innate nature, strives toward truth — its foundations drawn from the Holy Qur'an in questions seldom addressed with clarity. It is an open invitation to every seeker of meaning.
